Success! We hosted a Census Summit — here’s what you missed!

ABNY with New York Counts 2020 and in partnership with Labor Counts! Hosted the New York City Census Summit 2019 which brought together nearly 400 leaders and organizers from community-based organizations (CBOs), the government, and the private sector, all working to get out the count.

NYC Council Speaker Corey Johnson, NYC Census Director Julie Menin, Councilwoman Carlina Rivera of the NYC City Council’s 2020 Census Task Force, and Assemblyman Robert J. Rodriguez joined Dr. Steven J. Corwin from NewYork-Presbyterian, Dennis Walcott from Queens Public Library, Sonum Nerurkar from The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Vinny Alvarez of the New York City Central Labor Council, and many more for a series of conversations about what is at stake for our communities.
